Metzger has managed media relations for Eastern North Carolina’s brew- and business-focused destination Rocky Mount Mills. In over two years with the Mills, Metzger has managed press release writing and distribution, promoting events, business openings and sharing milestones.

As the Rocky Mount Mills campus has reached completion, Metzger has also pitched stories to regional and national publications, creating buzz around the complex’s River and Twine, the world’s largest tiny house hotel. Promotion of the campus and its amenities has involved both digital communication components as well as creating in-person experiences. In her work with the Mills, Metzger has created printed materials to distribute at hospitality trade shows, and she has even orchestrated a tiny house tour to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park that allowed event goers the opportunity to get a sneak peek at River and Twine’s unprecedented accommodations.
